I just had a chat with my primary care doctor today. In person.
I asked her for her opinion on the vax and boosters. She gave me a booster 6 months ago.
btw I am not dead.
I had expressed my misgivings about we laypeople arguing among ourselves largely due to poor messaging.
Even you doctors do not agree. No wonder there is suspicion.
This fourth shot (2nd booster) is not in my future, I told her. I am done with this crap.
She was visibly dismayed.
Her response was that a second booster's value is so minimal it's up to the individual . . .
. . . until more data comes in.
And then, given the passage of that time, a better booster may be available. (One that actually works, thought I.)
But she didn't want me to say "No more. Done with that."
I asked her, "What inputs do you doctors have for good consistent data?"
She said, "Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Institute are pretty good."
But she warned against using raw data. Stats can be manipulated.
So, again I walked away from a medical professional with an answer with lots of wiggle room.
